Join us for a talk with French historian and author Laurène Vernet, and a movie screening ”Simone, le voyage du siècle”, where you will discover the captivating and inspiring story of Simone Veil, a woman whose courage and resilience have profoundly shaped contemporary French history. A Holocaust survivor, a pioneer of women’s rights, and a prominent figure in French politics, Simone Veil embodies an inspiring vision of progress and humanity.
The movie is in French, with English subtitles. English simultaneous translation will be available throughout the discussion with Laurène Vernet, moderated by Anne Marguet, Educational Coordinator at the Montreal Holocaust Museum to ensure an engaging experience for all attendees.
