Join the Friends of the Jewish Public Library for a keynote lecture with former Montreal General Hospital Physician and Chief, Dr. Phil Gold.

Dr. Gold recently published his autobiography, Gold’s Rounds, which chronicles his life story; from growing up in Montreal’s Plateau neighborhood, to his early days working at the Molson Brewery, and of course his remarkable career as a medical professional and cancer researcher. Dr. Gold famously discovered CEA (carcinoembryonic antigen), the first marker for cancer that could be used in clinical practice.
